Practicing prenatal yoga supports a healthy mind and body during pregnancy and can help relieve some of the common discomforts associated with pregnancy. The class is designed to help build and maintain strength and flexibility, reduce stress on all levels, and give women a space to tune in to their own bodies, breath, and inner wisdom. The postures and breathing
exercises implemented can be of great use during labor and delivery. Prenatal yoga also provides women an opportunity to connect with other expectant mothers. The class is open to women in all stages of pregnancy (no previous yoga experience necessary) and the practice can be safely modified to suit the needs of each student.
