"Yoga is a dynamic, evolving practice that can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual. I offer classes for every kind of student - breath-centered vinyasa yoga, prenatal, gentle/therapeutic, chair yoga for seniors, as well as individualized privates. My aim in every class I teach is to guide students in a practice that promotes an overall sense of health and wellbeing. In my teaching, I integrate dynamic body movements linked to the breath (vinyasa), attention to structural alignment and individual modifications, breathing techniques, chanting, meditations and relaxation. I promote a non-competitive atmosphere in class


 for students to explore their practice with awareness, curiosity, and a spirit of playfulness. I have great respect for the diversity of teachings within the yoga tradition. There is not just one right way – each of us journey on our own unique path to our own truth. Through conscious yoga practice we can become more comfortable in our own bodies, ease tension in our lives, and restore the vital energy, prana, to the bodily systems. We work to remove obstacles in the way of our experience of freedom and ease. We encourage intimacy in our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the earth.  Through yoga, the interconnectedness of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states is revealed."
